1st Impression

Easy to kill, yet harder to thrill,
"still i dont know you"
but we smile for the moment, hate to dissapoint you, so my words are carefully chosen,
"still I dont know you"
so I engage you even closer, nothing being taught, but we learn slowly,
but you only get a chance to look goog and advance,
before it goes down the drain and your looking at it in the past,
but leave it to the conceited ones' as they say "i dont know you"
missing the whole point in the reason i approached her,
so i kept it moving with out a regret,
to know the 1st impression is all you need to know,
so i left her with a few words
your right i dont know you

Change

"They say this day would never come"
My Black people we've overcome,
come to the light, because we made it through the night,
we wont die, not without a fight, history is no news,
it's clear we paid our due's, cruel, and rude as if we're a fool,
Ha! It makes me laugh out loud,
with the king looking down, he must be proud,
I smile, but cry in sorry
because they dont want this aloud, why?
Because of the skin, look around in the eye's of there crowd,
we are still a nigger a koon with a smile,
careless of what's with in, not to mention blindsided my kin,
Prison, Modern day slavery,
we just commit the crime, but they break the law
united we fall cause justice is not for all,
how is this aloud, we need change I say it proud
no longer shall we run,
"They say this day would never come"
